When you provide us with information through www.docancer.org (the "Site"), we respect your privacy. It is important for you to understand what information we collect about you during your visit and what we do with that information. Your visit to the Site is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

1. DEFINITION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not collect personally identifiable information about you, except when you provide it to us. For example, if you donate or place an order through our Site, you may be asked to provide certain information such as your contact information (name, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery and billing addresses, credit card number and expiration date) or your experience with cancer if you submit a Survivor Story. When you submit your personally identifiable information on the Site, you are giving your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. To use certain aspects of our services or make a purchase, we may require credit or debit card account information or bank account information. By submitting such information through our Site, you expressly consent to the sharing of your information with third party merchants, billing processors, and payment processors. We do not store your credit or debit card account information, or have direct control over or responsibility for your credit or debit card account information. While we require that such third party merchants, billing processors, and payment processors use reasonable procedures to help protect your credit or debit card information, we cannot guarantee that transmissions of your credit or debit card account information or personal information will always be secure or that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat the security measures taken by us or our third-party service providers. We assume no liability or responsibility for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond our control.  

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We only collect information you provide to us (example: opt-in for emails by joining our email list).

Email communications: If you have elected to provide us with your contact information (by registering at the Site, emailing us, or placing an order) we may provide you with service-related announcements concerning the Site or contact you regarding your service requests for your order. You will have the option to Opt-Out of emails you have signed up for.

Survivor Story details: if you elect to share your story we will collect your information and potentially be posting your content on the Site if you give permission during the submission process.

We do not share personal information with Third Party Marketers: We will never provide your personally identifiable information to third parties for their use in marketing their products or services to you without your consent.  

3. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

If you have elected to provide us with your contact information (by registering at the Site, emailing our Customer Service department, donating, or placing an order) we may provide you with service-related announcements concerning the Site, contact you regarding your customer service requests, or send auto-generated order confirmations and/or recipt for your donation.

The Site contains links to other websites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. This Privacy Policy applies only to the information we collect on our Site.


Disclaimers & Warning

The purpose of Do Cancer, Inc. is to provide support, education and information to the public and to anyone adversely impacted by cancer by sharing wellness resources, information and practices which promote healthy living by long-term cancer survivors. The wellness kits contribute to this purpose. We are not licensed healthcare providers.

The statements made regarding these products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The efficacy of these products and the testimonials made have not been confirmed by FDA- approved research. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Information presented here is not meant as a substitute for or alternative to information from licensed health care practitioners. Please consult your healthcare professional about potential interactions with prescribed medications or other possible concerns before using any product.
